Los Compadres
A Long Beach Favorite
Los Compadres is undoubtedly a favorite restaurant for locals. There are two locations, the larger and more popular of the two is located on Anaheim St. The Pine location is much smaller, very difficult to find parking. In regards to the food, the quality is the same.
If you plan on visiting be prepared to join the waitlist. During the week you can expect to wait around 15-20 minutes. Wait times can run much higher on weekends, anywhere from 30-40 minutes. Is it worth the wait time? yes, Los Compadres serves up some of the best Mexican food in Long Beach. Did I mention they have fresh hand-made tortillas? Yup!
The Story Of Los Compadres
Born in 1987, Los Compadres set out to provide our guests with a culinary experience and warmth that can only be found south of the border.
We have traveled to most states in Mexico, tasting different flavors and compiling different recipes in order to bring you the finest food we can offer.
We only work with the highest quality and freshest ingredients by receiving daily food orders and prepping everything from scratch every day.
We ensure that all our guests feel welcomed and find a new family in our restaurant thanks to the hospitality that our associates provide.
But most importantly, we believe that there should never be a tradeoff between Taste, Quality and Service. Bring your family, friends, co-workers,
significant others, or simply come in and watch the game and know that, whatever the occasion is, you’ll walk out feeling satisfied.
