The Grasshopper, where the drinks are carefully crafted with passion. Come for the cocktails, stay for the vibes. The Grasshopper in Long Beach is a sleek-looking bar with an art deco aesthetic inspired by Asian culture and vintage design. 

There is an outdoor patio area with plenty of room and shade. For smokers, this would be a hangout spot or a place to grab a smoke. It can get crowded especially during happy hour and other large parties. If you’re looking to get away from the crowds then this is the spot for you.

The Grasshopper

This is one of the most unique bars in Long Beach. The Grasshopper is like stepping back in time to an era where you could dance all night long. The decor inside is eclectic, which gives off an old-school vibe. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the place. The Drinks have a cute, thematic cocktail menu. The staff is friendly, and the bar is small enough that you’ll likely be able to strike up a conversation with them about local beers.

The concept is awesome, and if the quality of these cocktails was on point with the names, this would be high on my list of places to recommend to people.

A fun little bar! I like the modern style interior and the layout of the bar. This side of town is definitely changing for the better. They have a dance floor and an outdoor patio area with plenty of seats. Small parking lot but there is lots of parking on the street. Drink prices were reasonable. They have a DJ, but I wonder if they'll do live music on that patio someday? (hint to management)

Nicely renovated building. Green outside, lively with music and well set up bar inside. You can tell you're in real bar with mixologists because they have fruit that's been peeled on the bar, herbs, and garnishments. They make excellent drinks here and have a good selection to choose from. The ambiance is is dark with ambiant lighting and seating to get close and have conversations over well made drinks. Definitely will return

BEST NIGHT EVER. Grabbed drinks after a date night with my boo. The staff and service were beyond amazing. The patio is cute and spacious and the inside is gorgeous. Despite how busy it was on Friday night I was never short of a drink in my hand. We tried many of the drinks on the menu and Omar even made us some custom cocktails. Overall, this place is great and you need to check it out.

What an absolute treat! I could die over the decor here , it's absolutely gorgeous and a time transformer! Definitely a vibe and a vibe I like ! Would love to do a shoot here! Came on a week day and it was pretty empty which I didn't mind. Bar tenders here are complete artist and masters of their craft! Absolutely enjoyed just watching them make our drinks! Almost as much as we enjoyed drinking them, almost ! Cicada is a must and the Grasshopper. I love the insect themed names. They also have a nice beer selection. Definitely an intimate vibes place- good for small close groups and of course those couples and cupcake dates!! Don't sleep on the Grasshopper, hop on by! Cheers !
